I haven't posted for an age. Perhaps bullet points would be easier?

• Work situation got more awkward. Became obvious that organisation wasn't going to get fixed anytime in the near future; and it's the sickness in the organisation which ultimately causes the problems with Nice But Disorganised Co-Worker, and Crap Management.
• forbinproject got shiny new job and started coming home in the evening all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I get very itchy feet...
• Handed in notice on the last working day before Christmas. Bugger the pension and the holidays, sanity is more important - and a 3 month notice period is so long it might jeopardise getting a plum job.
• As of yesterday have shiny new job with Which? Online, with a substantial pay hike and good terms & conditions. Leaving here at the end of the month, starting there 7 Feb.
• Evil Property Developer loses the fourth consecutive Planning Inspectorate appeal. The inspector's report is borderline sarcastic in the strongest yet rejection of EPD's arguments.
• New Vaio laptop has arrived to replace the one nicked in the burglary.

Net result, happiness.

i.e. do not dump loads of rubbish on the land and then try to use that as an excuse why he should build houses.
