Have developed a yen to go up Mount Washington . Not for the scenery, or for any particular interest in cog railways. No - it's where Intervention took place, and I have an affection for Uncle Rogi. We might drive over to New Hampshire tomorrow depending on whether it's raining. Or snowing. (I kid you not.)

There was a comics exhibition in Hartford. No monkeys, thankfully.

That's very harebrained and irrational but exactly why I would want to do the same. Very amused.

It's not terribly exciting up there, but then I did it before reading the books.

Dress up warm if you do go up, they really aren't joking about how nasty the weather gets, especially at this time of year. Don't expect to see anything :-)

brrrrr

Weather forecast for today is 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Dunno what that is in Celsius but in Vernacular it's Bloody Cold.

oh, and Clive, did you go up by the cog? The auto road is closed due to bad weather and the cog is $49 - seems a lot, but the trip lasts three hours.

Been up there a couple of times, but never took the cog, my dad was never prepared to spend that much ...

20 Fahrenheit is about -7 Celsius. What's the wind chill like? :-)
