forbinproject's driving continues to improve and after the usual tour of the Ilford Bungalow Estate we headed out on the open road to tackle roundabouts, dysfunctional traffic lights and a sneaky dual carriageway on the way to Asda. Today's game was trying to spot any young male driver who
wasn't using his mobile phone or eating crisps. Appalled to see how badly some drivers treat learners; for instance, pulling out of side roads in front of you when they would otherwise have waited. I might point out that I don't profess to offer any driving instruction, as despite having had a licence for eighteen years or so I have no idea how to teach. I merely sit in the front seat, issuing navigational instructions and reminding him to change down into first when at a standstill. It's a testament to
forbinproject's good nature that we don't argue at all during this process.

Mind you an Asda 14 is probably a 16/18 in any designer shop. But a welcome boost as this stone is being quite recalcitrant.
Jobs for the rest of today include packing for the holiday, working out what time we have to leave tomorrow morning for the 10.30am flight (answer = Too Early), me as Minister for Finance doing the household accounts, concealing evidence of grey hairs by use of chemistry, and
