All Hail Discardia
Mar. 19th, 2006 06:31 pmTomorrow is the first day of Discardia so I'm looking round the house with William Morris in mind. We've identified six banana boxes of books to go to the charity shops (unless someone desperately wants them), but I can't see any charity shop being able to dispose of the ref fleeces I made when we ran Harts sanctioned events..
Anyone want them before they go for landfill? Black with big yellow 'ref' on back, small yellow 'ref' on front. I know there are four, there might be five. Sprayed with Fabsil, they kept us toasty warm and dry during the drizzle at The Last Battle.

Edited to add: And a filter coffee maker. Nearly new, but it was too big so we bought the one without the frothing thing, which we never used anyhow. And a travel hairdryer (in the photo next to the fleece jacket).
I wish the UK had a culture of yard sales. Not to raise money, just to easily get rid to someone who wants the stuff more than I do.
