A low tolerance for opiates
Jun. 2nd, 2008 08:36 pmSadly it would appear that my gracefulness in unscheduled dismount has less to do with newly acquired equestrian skill, and rather more to do with being off my head on co-codamol.
(Which might also be a contributory reason to why I fell off in the first place.)
I had put the extreme state of relaxation this weekend down to the physical relief of not having a rotten tooth. No bells of alarum were sounded at being unable to decide what I should wear this morning, or even at spending over an hour when I got to my desk on working out what I was supposed to be doing today. Or accidentally connecting my local development server to the wrong database. No, it was being unable to have a conversation with my boss's boss without dissolving into giggles that gave the game away.
Thankfully he has a sense of humour, and we have flexitime, so I went home.
