Car specifications
Apr. 29th, 2007 11:31 amArrggh, my google-fu is failing. Does anyone know a site where I can find specifications of cars - including older and more boring ones? This isn't to get the 0-62mph performance figure for an Aston Martin, oh no, far less interesting.
The "Toshiba Corolla" mobile household appliance is gonna get replaced shortly. It's still perfectly reliable, but frankly looks too scratty for
forbinproject to be able to use to get to a client site. In order to fit on our drive, whatever car I buy has to be no more than 4.15 metres long. Any more and it sticks out onto the pavement. It's relatively easy to find new car specs but I'm looking at 6-10 years old. We do less than 4,000 miles a year and I'm looking at spending around £2,500.
(And another thing. 'Body-coloured bumpers', what's the point of them then? Surely it just means that if you accidently knock something, let's say just for the sake of argument my kitchen wall, between which wall and the front of the car there is sufficient clearance to get approximately 3 sheets of medium thick cardboard in order to avoid pavement-juttage, then the bumper immediately gets chipped. Style over functionality, bah!)
