Recital on Thursday 6th April

Further to this post, here are details of the recital; four of us who learn with Karin Thyselius are singing. It should only last about 45 mins, although perhaps a bit longer if we persuade Karin to sing a couple of songs herself as an encore, and I reckon her arm is twistable. She's very good! (Ask forbinproject for corroboration.)

Me, I'll be singing the following pieces;
Che faro senza Euridice - Gluck
Traüme - Wagner
Dôme épais le jasmin - Delibes (duet with Helen)
Là ci darem la mano - Mozart (duet with Hugh)

The church has a coffee bar where they sell coffee, tea, and especially homemade tasty Swedish cinnamon-based bakery products.

If anyone is interested, so email or ring me to sort out meeting up beforehand; forbinproject and jfs are likely to be coming. And afterwards let's go back to Ilford where I shall probably be getting very drunk.

Just in passing, this church is where I've been having lessons for the last three years. The latter two years with Karin, but yes this is the place where my first teacher Jonas told me to lie on my back in front of the altar...
