Letter arrived this morning from the chorus tour manager, confirming what they announced last week at the Missa Solemnis concert - ie. could we please indicate ASAP if we want to go on tour to Brazil from 24 June to 7 July. Five concerts, in Salvador, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Mind you it would take ten days' holiday. And have already put in to go to Strasbourg, which takes two days' holiday. And some mysterious 'Lohengrin' project is being mooted which apparently takes another five days, will find out more at the rehearsal tomorrow night. Wonder if I can ditch Strasbourg in favour of Brazil and then be able to do NWO after all, la la la...
In other news, thank you to you luvly people who lavished their advice re the Evil Developer. It all takes so much energy but if you let it go, the chance to do something is lost. I've scheduled in an hour and half tomorrow morning to write the letters and make the phone calls. (No, not joking about the scheduling. Wish I was...)
