Hedgehog

I get to go to Wildlife Aid this Sunday and collect an orphaned hoglet who's coming to live in our garden. Hooray!

Well, it may be the one and only chance you'll get to take a close look at one without having to douse yourself in DDT afterward, so I'd cherish it ! :-)

I love tiddyhoggies but MAN they are a walking ecoparasite hotel...

Make sure your garden is hedgepig proof if you want it to stay. They are buggers for escaping from things. I brought an amputee on home once. I saw it for 10 minutes, then it disappeared, never to be seen again. It may come back of course, but worth plugging obvious gaps in fencing.
