Living History fair this weekend

Going to the Reenactors Fair tomorrow, to meet up with various folks including [livejournal.com profile] velvet_the_cat. I understand it's in Warwick. I thought I'd better check where it is, always a good idea before setting off halfway across the country.

Um, is there something I should know? (scroll down!) Are we headed for the right one?

Anyone else going - and if so, to Warwick Exhibition Centre, or to somewhere else?

There are two over the weekend:
http://www.reenactorsmarket.co.uk/
Which is the one that used to be around oxford and now moved further north west.
http://www.livinghistoryfayres.com/
Which is the one around Warick & I haven't tried before.

We're planning on going to the Warick one on saturday. There are loads of lrpers going to either and some going to both.

Sounds like handbags at twenty paces in the cut'n'thrust world of re-enactment fayre production...

Splitters...

Is this the one that was in fact not in Warwick at all but in leamington Spa or thereabouts around this time last year?

I may be about if I can get away from box hell.

If you end up at the one in the midlands (IIRC it's in the arse end of nowhere in the vague vicinity of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Coventry) I might see you there.

What's your schedule for the day? What time you going there and what's the plan afterwards?
