Living History fair this weekend

Going to the Reenactors Fair tomorrow, to meet up with various folks including velvet_the_cat. I understand it's in Warwick. I thought I'd better check where it is, always a good idea before setting off halfway across the country.

Um, is there something I should know? (scroll down!) Are we headed for the right one?

Anyone else going - and if so, to Warwick Exhibition Centre, or to somewhere else?

We're planning on going to the Warick one on saturday. There are loads of lrpers going to either and some going to both.

If you end up at the one in the midlands (IIRC it's in the arse end of nowhere in the vague vicinity of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Coventry) I might see you there.

Went to the Warwick one last time and it was OK but not as good as the other one IMO. They had some kind of tournament going on that took up loads of space and far fewer people selling things.

Going to the Reenactors Market one (i.e. not Warwick), for two hours after whenever I stop messing around with the laptop and drag myself out of bed. Staying with anne'n'dan tonight. Coming home sometime on Sunday. In between, fairly plan-free, don't know what velvet_the_cat has planned sociability-wise, will be meeting her by midday and could ring you later.

We are running a fun casino on Saturday night for a Spinal Charity who are having a fundraiser at the Brum Metropole. Therefore we are staying at Chris Hill's. This means that on Sunday our options are (a) go to Ren Fayre (b) go to Anne's (c) go home cos we're knackered.

However, I hear that you are going Saturday, so unless you are staying over at Anne's, these options are not helpful to you.
